EPE has been there for our electric cooperative clients and utilities from the days of paper maps and spreadsheets to today’s information technology and GIS based systems. We have developed in-house software and expertise that makes the daily operation, planning and maintenance of our clients’ system most efficient. |

EPE has extensive experience in guiding generation developers through the process of evaluating the transmission grid deliverability, applying for interconnection, and coordinating design/engineering/procurement of renewable generation facilities.
Our experience is extensive in generation interconnection to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), as well as Southwest Power Pool (SPP), Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC), Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (MISO) and New York Independent System Operator (NYISO).
At EPE, there are no geographical limitations to where our services can extend. We have worked on projects all across the United States as well as internationally.

Hala received her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1989 and her Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1991. Hala has been working with Electric Power Engineers, Inc. since 1991 and is the owner of the company.
Hala is a licensed member of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the:
- State of Texas, license 80999
- State of Idaho, license 12315
- State of Rhode Island, license 8696
- Member of NSPE/TSPE
She is also a licensed member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and Power Society and a member of the Texas Renewable Energy Association (TREIA) and American Wind Energy Association (AWEA).
