Background

The 200MW Corazon Solar Project needed to update the latest Full Interconnection Study (FIS) Resource Asset Registration Forms (RAF) submitted to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) to reflect the new synchronization and Commercial Operation Date (COD) according to Section 5.3.2(2) of the Planning Guides. This Section requires Interconnecting Entities (IE) to promptly update their RAF to reflect current expectations, including after the Interconnection Agreement is signed.

Challenge

RAFs can indeed become difficult to navigate. As part of EPE’s Interconnection, Testing & Commissioning services, we support our clients with their RARF completion needs at any stage of the ERCOT Interconnection Process. Knowing this, Corazon Energy trusted EPE to update the latest FIS RARF submitted to ERCOT to reflect the new Synchronization date and COD.
