Background
ENGIE North America (ENGIE) is a major player in renewable energy, particularly in wind, solar, and energy storage projects. ENGIE collaborates with various stakeholders to develop innovative energy solutions that reduce environmental impact. For the Anson Solar project, EPE served as ENGIE’s owner’s engineer throughout the design and construction phase, providing expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facilitating the efficient execution of the project.
Challenge
A key challenge of the project was the detailed review of the photovoltaic (PV) plant design to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Additionally, the coordination of the MW overhead collection system presented logistical complexities, requiring precise alignment of engineering regulatory requirements, and execution to ensure the system’s efficiency and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Approach
EPE planned to work closely with ENGIE and its consultants to review and refine design assumptions, ensuring the project met all compliance requirements.
