Electric Power Engineers Appoints Monica Esparza Younger as Chief Information Officer

AUSTIN, Texas <October 14, 2025> — Electric Power Engineers (EPE) today announced the appointment of Monica Esparza Younger as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Younger brings more than 20 years of global experience driving large-scale modernization, ERP transformation, and enterprise innovation across finance, supply chain, operations, and human resources. 

As CIO, Younger will provide strategic leadership for EPE’s technology vision and execution, overseeing enterprise-wide business applications, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and AI implementation. As part of the executive team, she will collaborate with senior leadership to align technology with EPE’s mission of solving the industry’s most complex energy challenges and accelerating the transition to a more reliable, resilient, affordable, and flexible energy future. 

Prior to joining EPE, Younger held senior technology leadership roles at Dell Technologies, most recently serving as Vice President of Digital Modernization, where she led global initiatives enhancing developer productivity, agility, and AI-driven innovation across a 5,000+ developer community. As LATAM CIO for Dell Digital IT, she guided technology strategy for more than 1,500 IT professionals across Brazil and championed diversity and early-career development programs. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President and CIO for Dell Financial Services, leading a global IT organization of more than 500 professionals and delivering scalable, cloud-based financial systems.

Younger has been recognized twice by the Hispanic IT Executive Council’s HITECH 100 for her leadership and influence in technology. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, and is passionate about developing diverse, high-performing teams and mentoring the next generation of technology leaders.
