By EPE Team

COLLEGE STATION, TX, <October 29, 2025> – Electric Power Engineers (EPE) of Austin is among the top 100 companies from around the world selected for the 21st annual Aggie 100™ list, which honors the fastest-growing companies owned or led by former students of Texas A&M University. EPE has achieved Aggie 100 recognition nine years in a row, a distinction no other Aggie 100 company has achieved.

Three members of the EPE executive team have at least one degree from Texas A&M University – Founder, Board Chair, Former CEO, and Chief Vision Officer Hala Ballouz, Chief Growth Officer Hugo Mena, and Billy Yancey III, Vice President of Technical Services and Compliance.

“The award is based solely on company growth and performance, so it reflects the dedication, talent, and collaboration of everyone at EPE,” said Yancey, who accepted the award on EPE’s behalf. “It’s a testament to the work we do every day to deliver world-class solutions, drive client success, and shape the future of energy.”

The Aggie 100 was founded and is hosted by the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M University. The 100 companies with the highest compound annual revenue growth from 2022 to 2024 were recognized at a formal celebration at the Ford Hall of Champions at Texas A&M University’s Kyle Field on Oct. 10. The honorees were joined in celebration by family, friends, employees, faculty, administrators, current students and fellow entrepreneurs.

“Aggie 100 has fully stepped into its third decade,” said Blake Petty, Executive Director of the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship. “We're excited to continue looking ahead and celebrating the inspirational determination of Aggie entrepreneurs for decades to come.”
