EPE President & CEO, Hala Ballouz, Assesses Texas Load Growth and Reimagines the Grid

Did you know that EPE has had a hand in about 40% of all renewable energy development in Texas? EPE President & CEO, Hala Ballouz recently spoke to Renewable Energy World to discuss the state of the electric grid in Texas and beyond, and what we can expect as we reimagine the grid to adjust for growing demand in the future.

“We need to redesign the grid from scratch. There is a certain time when the ecosystem changes so much it doesn’t make sense not to pause and restructure. It’s like taking a house and renovating it when you really want to build a high-tech, modern house that completely looks different,” Hala said.
