About the Author: Horea Catanase
Horea is EPE’s Senior Director of Interconnection Services, Eastern Interconnection, and ERCOT. He has extensive experience working on various consulting projects related to electricity networks in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Horea currently leads a team focused on helping renewable developers and large loads navigate the interconnection processes in North America focusing primarily on the Eastern Interconnect (MISO, SPP, PJM, ISO New England, NYISO and SERC) as well as ERCOT. Horea is passionate about building and leading teams, developing people, continuously improving processes and contributing to the exciting transition of the energy industry.
