His expertise spans the preliminary design of wind, solar, and energy storage systems, with a deep focus on power system studies, including steady-state and sensitivity analysis. Throughout his career, Farid has collaborated with renewable energy developers, supporting generation interconnections, modeling, and various studies.

Farid has extensive experience completing generation interconnection applications for proposed projects with several Independent System Operators (ISOs), providing expert guidance throughout the interconnection process. He has led many renewable and conventional projects from the planning phase through design, engineering, and procurement, ensuring that projects are shovel ready.
